Grand preparations for Xi’s visit is on, says PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli today assured that extensive preparations have been made to make the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Nepal a success.

Speaking at a program on the occasion of the 64th Police Day in Kathmandu on Friday, PM Oli said that the role of Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and other security organs was significant to make Chinese President’s visit successful.

PM Oli said that the President of a powerful nation is visiting Nepal on Saturday while saying that the government was engaged in grand preparations for the same.

The security bodies, Prime Minister Oli said, were busy preparing for the visit.

On the occasion, the prime minister also remembered the role and contribution of security bodies during such visits.
