Rural Municipality’s jeep set on fire



GHORAHI: An unidentified group has set a vehicle owned by Bangalachuli Rural Municipality Chairman on fire Saturday night.

Rural Municipality Chairman Bhakta Bahadur Oli was using the vehicle with registration number, Ra 1 Jha 152. The vehicle has been completed gutted.

The vehicle had been parked at the municipality premises in Murkuti in ward no. 5 of the rural municipality. The fire was put out by a police team from the area police office in Kamirechaur and locals.

The people involved in the incident is yet to be known but the nature of the incident shows that the banned Bipalv group may be involved, police inspector at the District Police Office Bel Bahadur Pandey said. An investigation has been launched while police personnel have been mobilized in the area.
