Minister Baskota asks NC to clear its stance on Biplav

KATHMANDU: Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota has asked the Nepali Congress to make its stance clear on the outlawed Biplav outfit.

During a regular press briefing on Thursday, Minister Baskota accused the main opposition party of questioning the government taking advantage of violent activities of the outfit.

He questioned why NC is ‘favoring the outfit that is against constitution, law and peace’.

The remarks by the government’s spokesperson comes on the heels of obstruction of House proceedings by the party demanding to form a parliamentary committee to probe ‘killing’ of Sarlahi In-Charge of the outfit, Kumar Poudel.
