Koshi Zonal Hospital premises waterlogged for two days

BIRATNAGAR: Premises of Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratnagar have been waterlogged following rain for two days affecting movements of patients and general people visiting the hospital.

Failure of Biratnagar Metropolitan City to complete construction of drainage and the hospital sitting at the low area are blamed for the situation, said the hospital administration.

Efforts were on to clear the waterlogged area with the help of electric motors, the police and Armed Police Force.

The waterlogged area would be cleared in some days as the sub-metropolis is working to clear blocked drainages in the area, said the sub municipality.
