Man thrashes wife to death, hides dead body in drum



NEPALGUNJ: A man thrashed his wife to death at Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City on Wednesday evening.

Shiva Kumar Lodh of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city -2 thrashed his wife Lalita Kumari Lodha, 36, to death.

Superintendent of Police of Banke, Bir Bahadur Oli, said that the body of Lalita was found hidden in a drum when Lalita’s son Aman started searching her after he did not saw his mother at home when he returned from the school.

Police have started an investigation into the case by arresting two persons including Lalita’s husband Shiva Kumar. Lalita had sustained injuries at different parts of the body including face and head.
