When monkeys snatched away food served ready to eat …



KATHMANDU: In a funnier case, monkeys have started entering people’s residence after their natural habitat has been encroached upon. In some places in the capital, they have snatched away food served ready to eat.

Orphans and earthquake victims at Bal Bikas Byabyasayi Kendra, Sifal have been the hardest hit by the troubles created by the monkeys. Monkeys giving troubles at Pashupati are have also entered some parts of the capital.

According to Gorkhapatra daily, Ranikhet spreading in the areas of 31 ropanis of land had been allocated for moneys where corns used to be grown during the rule of late King Prithvi Narayan Shah, which now has been limited to the record only.
