Speed limit fixed on Manohara-Sanga road

BHAKTAPUR: A speed limit has been fixed for the vehicles plying on Manohara to Sangachowk in Bhaktapur district.

According to the new traffic rule, no vehicles can run more than more than 50 kilometers per hour.

“The speed limit has been fixed along six-lane Manohara-Suryabinayank road section to two-lane Suryabinayak-Sanga road sections to minimize road accidents,” said SP Sabin Pradhan, chief of Bhaktapur District Police Office.

The rule shall come into effect from June 16, according to Pradhan.

Traffic police will use radar guns and laser guns to check the speed of the vehicles.
