KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has summoned the winter session of the Federal Parliament for December 20.
President Bhandari summoned the winter session of the federal parliament on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers and in accordance with Article 93 (1) of the Constitution.
According to a press statement issued today by the spokesperson of the President office, Hari Prasad Dahal, the winter session of the federal parliament (comprising House of Representatives (HoR) and National Assembly (NA)) will convene at the New Baneshwor-based parliament building, at 4:00 pm on December 20.
