Acid attacker’s accomplice arrested after six years

HETAUDA: The Makawanpur Police have arrested a person on the charge of helping an acid attacker flee police arrest from the district.

The arrestee identified as Sanjaya Mandal helped Indian citizen Dilip Raj Keshari escape police arrest, said the police.

Keshari has been accused of acid-attacking a 19-year-old girl six years ago. Keshari is already in police custody, however.

Investigations are ongoing, said the police.
