New trekking route identified connecting Panchakot-Dhorpatan

BAGLUNG: A new trekking route has been identified in Baglung connecting Panchakot and Dhorpatan — two tourism destinations.

This new route is expected to explore and promote other tourism potentials in the area.

Initially, a sketch has been drawn to connect the area from Baglung municipality-6, Panchakot to Kathekhola and then to Beldhunga, Beni in Myagdi.

The trekking route will then be expanded to Dhorpatan, according to Raju Khadka, Chairperson of Baglung Tourism Development Committee.

He added that the new route, named as ‘Dhaulagiri Circuit’, has been identified to connect tourism sites of the district.

This has been aimed at promoting tourism and informing tourists coming to Baglung during the Visit Nepal 2020.
