2,000 broilers culled after bird flu detected in Dadhikot



BHAKTAPUR: Hundreds of broiler chickens were culled after they tested for H1N1 virus at Dadhikot in Suryabinayank Municipality-1 in the district.

As many as 2,000 broilers were killed after the virus was detected in Anuskrit poultry farm belonging to Madhuram Neupane in Dadhikot.

Earlier, 2,985 chickens had been killed in Utkrista Multipurpose Agriculture Poultry farm based in the same ward.
