Nepal wins silver in SAG women’s football

POKHARA: Nepal has clinched a silver medal in the final of the women’s football tournament under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) held at Pokhara Stadium on Monday.

India’s Bala Devi scored a goal in the 18th minute of the tournament.  India’s striker Devi doubled the score in the 55th minute.

Despite having a high morale due to support from the audience, Nepal lost to India 2-0 in the final.
