SAG women’s football: India leads Nepal 2-0

POKHARA: Nepal is locking horns with India in the finals of the women’s football under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) at the Pokhara Stadium on Monday.

India has taken lead 2-0 against Nepal. India’s Bala Devi scored a goal in the 18th minute of the tournament.  India’s striker Devi doubled the score in the 55th minute.

Earlier, Nepal had lost to India 0-1 in the league stage match and in the final of the previous edition of the SAG.

Being the host team, Nepal has an advantage of receiving backup from the audience that will keep the morale of the team high.
