NCP leader Nepal, Indian envoy Puri hold talks



KATHMANDU: Leader of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri have held talks.

Ambassador Puri reached Nepal’s residence in Koteshwor to pay a visit to Nepal this morning.

The Half an hour-long meeting between the two discussed bilateral issues and relations between Nepal and India, a source said.

Nepal and Puri also touched up the border dispute and the political map unveiled recently by India.

Demonstrations are on in Nepal against India after India unveiled its political map incorporating Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani.
