JALESHWOR: Nepal Army personnel defused an improvised explosive device (IED) placed on the premises of Division Forest Office at Jaleshwor municipality-2 in Mahottari on Monday.

The pressure cooker bomb kept inside a plastic bag was found placed under a four-wheeler at the parking lot on Sunday.

It was defused by a bomb disposal squad from the Nepal Army this morning, according to District Police Office Mahottari’s Superintendent of Police Shyam Krishna Adhikari.
