13th SAG: Nepal second with 164 medals, including 45 gold



KATHMANDU: Nepal has stood second on the scoreboard at the ongoing 13th South Asian Games with a total of 164 medals — 45 gold, 44 silver and 76 bronze so far.

India has topped the rankings with a total 252 medals including 132 gold, 78 silver and 42 bronze.

Similarly, Sri Lanka is at the third position with 36 gold medals, 68 silver and 93 bronze.

Pakistan has secured the fourth position with 29 gold, 34 silver and 47 bronze while Bangladesh is in the fifth position with 8 gold, 27 silver and 67 bronze.

Likewise, Maldives is at the sixth position with one gold and two bronzes, and Bhutan at the seventh position with nine bronze medals.
