BANKE: Two persons died in a road accident that occurred at Phattepur in the district last night. The accident occurred as a tractor hit a motorcycle.
Police have said those killed in the accident were Suman Kumar Tharu, 24, and Sanjiv Dhamlahawa, 15. They were in a motorcycle (Ma 2 Pa 7034) which was hit by the tractor (Bhe 1 Ta 2901). It occurred at Phattepur of Rapti Sonari rural municipality-7.
Police Inspector at Area Police Office Bhojbhagwanpur, Man Bahadur BC, informed that both Suman Kumar and Sanjiv who were injured seriously in the accident died while being taken to Nepalgunj Medical College.
The tractor driver has been absconding, the police added.
