Bangladeshi President to visit Nepal from Nov 12



KATHMANDU: President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Abdul Hamid is paying an official goodwill visit to Nepal at the invitation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari from November 12 to 15.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement that the President of Bangladesh will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon his arrival.

During the visit, Bangladeshi President Hamid will meet with President Bidya Devi Bhandari in Nepal. President Bhandari will host a banquet in honor of the Bangladeshi counterpart and his delegation.

Similarly, Vice President, Prime Minister, Chairperson of the National Assembly, and Minister for Foreign Affairs will call on the President of Bangladesh. Senior political leaders will also call on the President of Bangladesh.

Moreover, the President of Bangladesh will visit Pokhara and the historical, archaeological and cultural sites in the Kathmandu Valley too, the Ministry added.
