Nepali migrant worker Prem Bahadur left in high and dry in Portugal



LISBON: A Nepali migrant worker has fallen ill due to kidney-related ailment. Prem Bahadur Gurung, 39, of Makalu Rural Municipality of Sankhuwasabha, who went to Portugal seven months ago, is in a difficult condition after his both kidneys failed to function.

Patient of high blood pressure and diabetics already, Gurung, has been undergoing dialysis since the past one month. Gurung had reached Portugal with a dream of raising family financially by spending Rs 100,000.

Doctors have advised him to undergo dialysis for two months and if if it did not work, he would have to undergo kidney transplantation, said Gurung.
