ICT Award nominees announced



KATHMANDU: Nominees of the fourth edition of ‘ICT Award-2019’ have been made public. Names of the competent candidates nominated under three out of nine genres of the award – ‘Start-Up ICT Award’, ‘Product ICT Award’ and ”Rising Student ICT Award’ have been made public, shared Rajan Lamsal, program coordinator of the host organization ‘Living with ICT’. It is informed that 11 outstanding applications have been nominated in each genre.

More than 150 online applications were submitted in nine different genres of the ICT award. Outstanding 11 nominees were selected based on the applications received on self-nomination, documents and profiles. The nominees under the start-up ICT award are Admana Technology, Cynical Technology, E-Digital Nepal Pvt Ltd, Hamro Technology Pvt Ltd, Khali Sisi Pvt Ltd, Kitab Yatra Pvt Ltd, Yati Books Store, Tire Treasures, UG Cakes Pvt Ltd, Unelma Platform and Walkman ‘Green Queens’. More than 30 applicants had submitted their nominations under the genre.

Under the product ICT award, Delta Sales App, Digital Aid Network Platform, Promise to Secure, Inspela, Khoj Info, M Bank, Mediflow System and Services, School Management System, shreeyog.com and Serve Management System. Among the nominees under the Rising Student ICT Award are bachao app, helper, naya kinmel, prashashan, raktadan, smart boat for rescue, water tester app, email serve engine, nepali stemming, vincel face and trip sahayatri. Process for selecting nominates under other genres of the award is underway, the hosts informed.
