State-3 to construct 119 new parks

HETAUDA: The State-3 government is planning to construct parks in all its 119 local levels.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law said it would build peace parks in a bid to develop tourism hotspots at each local level. The ministry said it has an aim to complete the construction of the parks, which would be carried out in collaboration with the local governments, within four years.

The provincial government has allocated a total of Rs 100 million for the construction of the parks in the fiscal 2019/20. Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Shalikram Jamakattel informed that the state government would initiate construction of parks by framing work procedure.
