Rs 150,000 to Kailali storm victim families



KAILALI: The Sudurpaschim province government is to provide Rs 150,000 each to the families of the victims of those killed in Kailali storm which occurred on Thursday night.

The Sudurpaschim government decided to provide Rs 20,000 each to the people whose houses suffered complete damage and Rs 10,000 each to those whose houses have been damaged.

Two people were killed and 76 others injured in the storm in Kailali district last Thursday. According to Assistant Chief District Officer of Kailali, Mohanraj Joshi, a total of 7,844 families were affected due to the storm in Kailali district.

He informed that some 2,216 houses have suffered completed damages.
