5 killed as cloth store catches fire near Pune

PUNE: Five people died in a fire that broke out at a cloth godown near Pune today, Indian media reports said.

The fire reportedly broke out at 5 am today when the workers were asleep in a room above the shop at Devachi Urli village near Pune.

Five fire tenders were at the scene to douse the fire. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. (Agencies)
