Nepal taking on Iran in AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers



KATHMANDU: Nepal is facing host Iran in its second match under the AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers today.

The match is scheduled to take place at PAS Tehran Stadium at 8 pm (Nepali time).

In its first match, Nepal thrashed United Arab Emirates (UAE) 4-0, while Iran defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-0 in its first match. UAE and Kyrgyzstan are competing today.

Nepal will play against Kyrgyzstan in its final match on November 10.

Nepal is placed in Group ‘D’ alongside UAE, Kyrgyzstan and Iran. Iran has topped the scoreboard with three points, and UAE is ranked second with three points.

Likewise, Nepal and Kyrgyzstan have secured third and fourth positions respectively with zero points.
