Police arrest two cow smugglers

JALESHWOR: Mahottari police have arrested two persons for smuggling cows from Nepal to India. The arrestees are Mustakim Mommin, 28, and Abtak Sesh, 32, from Samsi rural municipality-2 in Mahottari, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Madhav Prasad Budhathoki.

They were arrested while taking three cows to India through the jungle of Sansi rural municipality-7.

The police patrol deployed from Samsi police post caught the smugglers. Further investigation is underway, the police added.
