Gold price drops by Rs 500 per tola



KATHMANDU: The gold price that skyrocketed has now started to fall in the domestic market.

After registering a sharp decline by Rs 1,400 on Friday, the price of the precious yellow metal further slumped by Rs 500 on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 71,500 per tola today. Likewise, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 71,200.

On the other hand, silver price increased by Rs 15 and reached Rs 900 per tola.
