KATHMANDU: The most auspicious hour for giving and receiving the tika of this year’s Dashain festival is at 10:35 am on October 8, the Nepal Calendar Determination Committee has stated.

Likewise, the auspicious time for Ghatasthapana, the first day of 10-day Dashain festival, is at 10:35 am on September 29.

According to the Committee, 10:25 am on September 30 is the most auspicious time to replace the national flag with the new one at the government offices and Nepal Army’s offices.

Similarly, 8:52 am has been fixed as the auspicious time to offer Phulpati on the seventh day of the Dashain.
