French national goes missing in a river in Nepal



DHADING: A French national heading toward China via Rasugadhi has been reported missing from Ghatte River in Tumre on Thursday. She was swept away by the river as she was washing her legs.

District Police Spokesperson Om Prakash Wagle said that Harting Alfred, 71, with passport number 11CP00778 is missing since being swept away by the river. A team has been mobilized to search for her soon after the information about the incident was received.

Alfred was reportedly heading toward Mansarovar.
