KATHMANDU: The ICC World Cup 2019 fever has gripped cricket fans across the world. To celebrate this sporting extravaganza, US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry joined Nepali cricketers in a bid enthuse them and celebrate the moment at Ratopul.

On a lighter note, envoy Berry, wearing a Nepali cricket jersey, played cricket with captain Khadka.

At the invitation from the envoy, Nepali national cricket team skipper Paras Khadka, Vice Captain Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Veswakar, head coach Umesh Patwal, and Karuna Bhandari, and Sita Magar met Ambassador Berry on Monday.

Envoy Berry and skipper Khadka discussed Nepali cricket. They discussed wide-ranging issues surrounding Nepali cricket with Nepal’s journey from Division 5 to One-Day International status to upcoming ODI series between the USA and Nepal.
