Govt proposes three-tier security system



KATHMANDU: The government has proposed a three-tier security system in order to maintain law and order in the country, reported Kantipur daily.

In the bill related to law and order tabled in the Parliament recently, three kinds of security committees have been proposed, according to the report.

According to the proposal, the National Security Committee will be led by Home Minister, Provincial Security Committee will be chaired by Minister for Internal Affairs and Law while Chief District Officer will look after the security of district.
