President Bhandari administers oath to ambassador

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhrigu Dhungana, the newly-appointed ambassador of Nepal to Canada at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas.

Dhungana, who was serving as a joint-secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was appointed to the post on April 1.

On the occasion, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali, Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, among others were also present.
