MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan said she is playing the lead role as Shakuntala Devi, a film made on the mathematics genius, Indian media reported.
Shakuntala Devi has earned the fame of a human computer for her skill to make swift calculations.
The movie, directed by Anu Menon, and produced by Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment, is set for a summer 2020 release.
Vidya Balan said she is ‘extremely excited’ to play the role of Shakuntala Devi, on the big screen. (Agencies)
