Nepal bags historic gold medal in wrestling



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Sangita Dhami has won a gold medal for Nepal in wrestling under the ongoing South Asian Games (SAG) on Saturday.

Dhami defeated Bangladeshi player 4-1 in the 55 kg event.

It is the first medal for Nepal in wresting in the regional sporting extravaganza.

Earlier on Friday, Nepal clinched one silver and three bronze medals in wrestling.
