305 permits issued to climb Nepal’s mountains this autumn



KATHMANDU: The government has given a total of 305 climbing permits to climb Nepal’s mountains this autumn so far.

According to the Department of Tourism, 28 teams are climbing Mount Manaslu this autumn. It has given 225 permits to climb Mt. Manaslu.

Around 30 permits have been given for Mount Dhaulagiri.

Likewise, a total of 13 climbers have taken permits to climb Mount Lhotse while only four permits have been issued to climb Mount Makalu so far.

Likewise, 10 permits have been issued to climb Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, this season.
