Around 62 persons infected with dengue in Hetauda



HETAUDA: More than sixty people have fallen sick due to dengue fever in Hetauda sub-metropolitan city.

The number has been recorded from July 17 to August 7. The patients have been receiving treatment at the hospitals of Hetauda.

According to Hari Bahadur Mahat, Mayor of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city, there has been an increase in the number of dengue patients visiting hospitals for treatment.

Mahat added that various activities have been initiated to explore the possible habitat of mosquitoes and to destroy them.

Likewise, Supendra Karki, Chief of Health Section, informed that the sub-metropolis has launched awareness programs by reaching out to settlements, schools, by destroying the habitat of mosquitoes.
