KATHMANDU: The government has recommended Nepali ambassadors to four countries.

A meeting of the council of ministers recommended Maheshraj Dahal as an ambassador for Australia, Angfuti Sherpa for Spain, Narad Bhardwaj for Qatar and Banisdhar Mishra for Bangladesh, according to the source.

The recommended ambassadors have to face a parliamentary hearing before being appointed by the President.
