PM Oli congratulates new Thai PM

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.) on his election as the Prime Minister of Thailand.

In a congratulatory message on Friday, the prime minister stated that both the countries have been enjoying friendly relations ever since the establishment of diplomatic relations, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The prime minister has expressed his belief that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries would be further consolidated during the tenure of Prime Minister of Thailand.

Prime Minister Oli has also expressed best wishes for the good health and happiness of the Prime Minister of Thailand as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Thailand.
