103 terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir this year



NEW DELHI: A total of 103 terrorists have been killed by Indian security forces in Jammu and Kashmir this year, Indian media reports have said citing defense sources.

In 2019, India’s security forces killed 103 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 254 terrorists were killed in 2018, an ANI report said.

According to the report, Pakistan violated the ceasefire more than 1,170 times in 2019 and 1,629 times last year.

In 2018, Indian security forces neutralized 238 terror operatives, the report said.

Meanwhile, in 2018, as many as 86 security personnel and 37 civilians lost their lives. (Agencies)
