Economic growth to reach 7.1%, says World Bank

KATHMANDU: The World Bank has projected that the economic growth will reach 7.1 percent in the current fiscal year.

The WB has said that the economic growth has shot up thanks to the significant improvement in agriculture and service sectors. Unveiling its report on Thursday, WB said economic growth went up by 7.5 in the service sector alone.

Similarly, other sectors such as retailer, hotel, restaurant also witnessed significant improvement in its economic growth.
