Real Madrid out from Champions League knockout tie



After 22 years, Ajex has been advanced to Champions League knockout tie. Real Madrid has been eliminated from the Champions League knockout tie following a humiliating defeat from Ajax 4-1 on Tuesday and 5-3 in aggregate.

Ajax scored the first goal into the Madrid post in the 7th minute of the first half. For the Ajax dominant win, Hakim Ziyech (7mins) David Neres (18 mins), Dusan Tadic (62 mins), Lasse Schone (72mins) have contributed. For the Real, only Macro Asensio gave the consolation score in the 70th minute.  Similarly, in the game, Real’s Nacho got the red card in extra time.

  • Ajax’s Dusan Tadic has been directly involved in more goals than any other player in the Champions League this season (6 goals, 3 assists).
