Sauraha to host Elephant Festival from December 26



CHITWAN: Sauraha is hosting a six-day Elephant Festival from December 26.

The 16th edition of the festival aims at encouraging tourists expecting to promote the Visit Nepal Year 2020, according to the organizer Regional Hotel Association, Sauraha.

According to Deepak Bhattarai, Chairman of the Association, elephant polo, elephant football, elephant fast walks, elephant beauty peasant and picnic for elephants will be featured in the event to be held at the Bhaghmara Ground in Sauraha.

The festival will have 50 stalls relating to touristic stuff, several verities of food and handicraft items.

Chairman of Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to inaugurate the festival.
