Newly appointed State Chief Kalauni assumes office



KARNALI: Newly-appointed Chief of Karnali State, Govinda Prasad Kalauni, assumed his office on Wednesday.

Assuming the office, Kalauni said he would play a constructive and coordinating role in the development and prosperity mission adopted by the Karnali state government.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari had administered the oath of office to the newly-appointed State Chiefs of all the seven states on Tuesday.

Kalauni was welcomed by Karnali state government Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, State Assembly Speaker Raj Bahadur Shahi, State government minister for internal affairs and law Naresh Bhandari, among others.
