Biker killed, pillion rider injured in Chitwan road mishap

CHITWAN:  A motorcyclist died while the pillion rider sustained serious injuries when the motorcycle they were riding went out of control at Lanku of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4 in the district on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Dipak Basnet, 24, of ward number 4. Pillion rider Pradip Basnet, 20, sustained injuries. Injured Pradip is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College, said District Police Office, Chitwan.

The body of the deceased has been taken to Bharatpur Hospital for postmortem.
