ACC U-19: Nepal batting against Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU: Nepal has won the toss and elected to bat first against home team Sri Lanka at the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U-19 underway at R Premadasa International Cricket Ground in Colombo today.

It is not easy to beat test-playing nation but Nepal has a record of victory over such nation. In 2017, Nepal had defeated Indian in group stage match in 2017. But Nepal has not defeated Sri Lanka so far.

Nepal is drawn in Group ‘B’ with home team Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and United Arab Emirates in the Asia Cup which involves eight teams. Nepal has to win at least two games to reach among the top four teams.
