‘North Korea fires two more missiles yet again’

SEOUL: South Korea’s military said North Korea has fired two more unidentified missiles in its fourth such launch in less than two weeks.

They were fired from South Hwanghae province across the peninsula into the sea to the east, a statement said.

The US said it was monitoring the situation and consulting with South Korea and Japan regarding the launch.

North Korea has expressed anger at US-South Korean military exercises that occurred on Monday.

The annual drills have been kept low key but North Korea says they violate agreements reached with President Donald Trump and South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in.
