KANCHANPUR: Two Indian women died in a road accident at Belauri Municipality-10 in the district on Friday evening. The victims were Manisha Hamal, 25, and Manisha Palabinder Chaudhari from Pilibhit district and of Uttar Pradesh. They were killed in the scooter (UP 26 AA 6538) accident.

The scooter they were riding stumbled on the culvert, said Assistant Inspector of Police, Dambar Singh Karki, from Bhuda Police Post. Hamal had come to maternal home at Belauri. The scooter hit culvert being imbalanced.

Injured seriously in the incident, both of them breathed their last on the way to hospital. The dead bodies have been handed to the concerned family members.
