SARLAHI: A youth died due to snake bite at Kabilasi Municipality-2 here. The victim is 21-year-old Bijaya Mandal, son of Sikindra Mandal. Bijaya was bitten by a poisonous snake while he was sleeping at his in-laws’ house at Sukhachaina, Kodaina Rural Municipality-1.
He died as he could not get timely treatment. Meanwhile, a private school at Ramnagar Rural Municipality-3 caught fire at 9.30 pm on Friday.
The school, Memorial Gyan Jyoti English Boarding School run by local Pheku Raya was gutted by fire. Property worth Rs one million was gutted in the incident.
