Massive fire breaks out at factory in Birgunj

PARSA: A fire has broken out at Sushil Banaspati Pvt. Ltd. based in Parwani of Birgunj Metropolitan City on Saturday morning.

The fire broke out at the packaging factory and warehouse of the company at 2 am.  Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police with the help of fire fighters brought from different places are engaged in containing the fire, said Narayan Prasad Adhikari, chief district officer of Parsa.
The fire fighters had been brought from Birgunj, Pokhariya, Simara and Amlekhgunj.

The detail of the property damaged by the fire is yet to be ascertained. The fire had started due to short-circuit.
