Hindu Temple brought into operation after 72 yrs in Pakistan



ISLAMABAD: A Hindu temple, which had remained closed for the last 72 years in Pakistan, has been brought into operation.

Shawala Teja Singh Temple based in Sialkot City of Panjab Province  of Pakistan has been opened. This temple was closed since 1947 BS.

This temple was opened at the direction of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistani media reported.

The temple was brought into operation after performing vedic hawan as per Hindu tradition. A large number of Hindu devotees had gathered at the temple at the opening ceremony.
