KATHMANDU: The government has decided to observe the upcoming Republic Day for three days. It formed a committee on Monday to facilitate the celebrations.
A meeting at Home Ministry formed the Republic Day Main Celebrations Committee under the chairmanship of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The Republic Day 2019 will be celebrated from May 28-30. Nepal celebrates the 15th Jestha in Nepali calendar every year as the Republic Day. This year, the Day falls on May 29.
